LimmudLA Annual Conference
From early in the morning until late each night, the LimmudLA Annual Conference offers an opportunity to choose from an ongoing menu of 8-12 simultaneous sessions on topics ranging from Talmud to psychology, from pop culture to Bible, from drama to Israeli politics. Sprinkled throughout are a multitude of concerts, films, yoga and movement sessions and opportunities to engage in mitzvah projects — all organized by teams of volunteers.
Some sessions are given by internationally renowned presenters; others are discussion groups, artist circles, or workshops. Some are small; others are events for the entire LimmudLA community. There is time to make new friends and time to talk with presenters, so that you can truly learn from everyone.
Diversity is more than just a buzzword for us. Jews of every denomination and affiliation (or non-affiliation) attend conference. Different ages, races, ethnicities, marital status, sexual orientations, educational backgrounds and occupations are part of the mix of the LimmudLA community.
Our format allows you to immerse yourself or dip in as much as you choose. The learning, in all the ways it unfolds, is nonstop, inspiring and invigorating.
We look forward to learning with you at Conference 2011!
